Low Crime does not mean No Crime

Although Singapore may have just a few crimes compared to other countries. Still, we have to be on our guard and be alert at all times.

Everyone has a role to play. Everyone are responsible for their own actions.
In order to keep Singapore safe, not only the Singapore Police Force have to do their best in ensuring safety in Singapore, but also Citizens of Singapore should do their part in ensuring that Singapore is a safe country to live in.

Car Vandalism

A student from RP, had witnessed first-hand someone vandalising a car two months back, but was too afraid to speak up about it.

However, he did gave account of the man’s looks. The student had also gave information to the police on this incident.

A quiet person and married with 2 children, also saw a similar vandalism last year. He witnessed that someone was vandalising a car, however, he was a quiet person. He did not want to get involved in any of these cases. However, he did provided information to the police on this case.

The blog's purpose

Crime rates in Vic Street are on the rise. Many of the people staying at the area are complaining to the police about issues such as Vandalism, Robberies and shop-lifting.

However, do not be alarmed as everything are still under control.

The purpose of this blog is to inform the public that the police is also having a challenge to create public awareness about the measures implemented in the neighbourhood to detect and prevent terrorism.

Thus, we want to start a crime and terrorism awareness initiative for the public, so that the public would know what to do when crimes happen.

Purpose:
To be alert about the current crime situation
To get advice on how to prevent and stop crime.
To contribute and report on crimes happening in their immediate vicinity
To get updates of police actions
To be aware of the actions required to fight terrorism.
